For example, if damages are awarded to Macron, then this market will resolve “**Macron**.” - In case Candace Owens agrees to pay a settlement, this market resolves to “**Macron**.” - If the lawsuit or trial is dismissed, this market resolves to “**Owens.”** - If Macron’s case is not proven—meaning no damages, apology, etc. is ordered by the court—this market resolves to “**Owens.”** **Resolution Details:** The market’s primary resolution source is the BBC. Should the BBC fail to report on the outcome of the lawsuit, then Reuters or AP can be used as secondary resolution sources. This market resolves based on the outcome of Case ID N25C-07-194 - EMMANUEL MACRON, V. CANDACE OWENS, ET AL, filed in Delaware. Only the outcome of this lawsuit and the potential resulting trial will be considered for the resolution of this market.
