The market puts this at about a 28% chance — unlikely.
No money — just record your call and see if you were right. Yes is at 28% right now.
Bitcoin has only five days left in July to spike above $67,500, and despite a slight uptick from Japan ETF optimism, the probability remains low after a week of decline, reflecting skepticism that a sudden surge will occur.
What's driving it
- • The 24h +6pt uptick is driven by news on July 25 that Japan's Bitcoin spot ETFs could reach $18.4B by 2028, boosting adoption sentiment (Pluang, Jul 25).
- • The 7d -18pt decline reflects earlier disappointment after a mid-July rally fizzled, as highlighted by the 'Quiet Civil War' article on July 23 (blockhead.co, Jul 23).
- • The StreetInsider article on July 23 noting six consecutive ETF inflow days briefly revived $70K hopes but failed to sustain momentum, contributing to the weekly drop (StreetInsider, Jul 23).
- • The Ethereum nearing bottom against Bitcoin report on July 23 suggests Bitcoin may be underperforming relative to ETH, weighing on bullish sentiment (TradingView, Jul 23).
The case for YES
- • Six consecutive days of ETF inflows as of July 23 indicate renewed institutional demand that could push Bitcoin past $67,500 before month-end (StreetInsider, Jul 23).
- • Japan's potential Bitcoin ETF market, projected to reach $18.4B by 2028, signals growing mainstream acceptance that could trigger a late-July rally (Pluang, Jul 25).
- • Bitcoin miners' contracts reaching $150B in value on July 24 underscores strong industry fundamentals, supporting a price increase (Cointribune, Jul 24).
The case for NO
- • With only five days remaining in July, Bitcoin would need an improbable rapid surge of over 10% from current levels to hit $67,500, given recent low volatility.
- • The 'Quiet Civil War' within Bitcoin suggests internal governance disputes that could hinder price appreciation (blockhead.co, Jul 23).
- • Ethereum nearing a market bottom against Bitcoin implies Bitcoin may be overvalued, limiting its upside potential (TradingView, Jul 23).
What to watch
- • Release of weekly Bitcoin ETF flow data on July 28 could boost odds if inflows continue, or dampen them if they reverse.
- • Any regulatory clarity or approval from Japan regarding Bitcoin ETFs before July 31 could drive a spike in odds (Pluang, Jul 25).
- • The expiration of the market itself on July 31 acts as a catalyst: as each day passes without a spike, odds for No increase.

Pump’s next move: Pump to $0.005 or Dump to $0.001?
The market is heavily concentrated on the dump outcome at 81%, but the lack of any recent headlines or price action data means this skew likely reflects a structural base rate for low-cap tokens rather than a specific catalyst, leaving the field vulnerable to a sudden pump if any positive news emerges.
