Joel Dahmen vs The Field
The field is extremely concentrated on 'The Field' at 98%, reflecting the reality that Joel Dahmen is a long-shot specialist who has made cuts but not contended in elite events, while the ISCO Championship and Myrtle Beach Classic fields include deeper talent like Harry Higgs, Max Homa, and Jackson Koivun (Golfweek, Jul 3; Golfweek, May 5). The single biggest recent shift is the widening gap between Dahmen and the field, reinforced by his missed opportunity to build momentum after making the Valspar cut (Golfweek, Mar 20) and his inclusion in the John Deere Classic field alongside Lucas Glover and Rickie Fowler (Quad-City Times, May 4), which highlights the depth of competition.
