Despite a 98% No price, the market is pricing out a dip to $45k in July not because Bitcoin is stable, but because the recent dip-buying by holders and a brief bounce above $58k after June's bloodbath suggest the bottom may be in for now, making a further 20%+ crash to $45k this month extremely unlikely.
What's driving it
- • Bitcoin holders are actively buying the dip, which reduces selling pressure and makes a sharp drop to $45k less probable (Startup Fortune, Jul 5).
- • June's sharp decline was labeled an 'ETF dip-buyer trap' by analysts, implying that institutional dip-buying may have already occurred, limiting further downside (HackerNoon, Jul 2).
- • A rapid surge after a brief dip below $58k on July 1 signals a potential bear trap, suggesting the market may have already found a local bottom (TradingKey, Jul 1).
The case for YES
- • If the broader crypto market sentiment remains bearish and the 'one more dip' scenario materializes, a sudden sell-off could push BTC to $45k within a single 1-minute candle (Coinpedia, Jul 6).
- • Traders are bracing for another leg down, and a coordinated sell-off or a black-swan event could trigger a flash crash to the target (Startup Fortune, Jul 5).
- • The resolution condition is extremely strict (any 1-minute candle low ≤ $45k), so a brief, sharp wick—even if quickly reversed—would resolve Yes, making a low-probability event still possible.
The case for NO
- • The current price is far above $45k, and the 98% No odds reflect that a 20%+ intra-month drop is historically rare without a major catalyst, which is absent now.
- • Dip-buying by holders and institutional investors provides a price floor, making a sustained decline to $45k unlikely (Startup Fortune, Jul 5; Mshale, Jul 4).
- • The brief bounce above $58k after the June low suggests strong support near that level, making a further $13k drop to $45k improbable within the same month (TradingKey, Jul 1).
What to watch
- • Upcoming U.S. CPI data release (mid-July): if inflation surprises to the upside, risk assets including Bitcoin could sell off, increasing Yes probability.
- • Federal Reserve interest rate decision (late July): a hawkish stance could pressure crypto prices, raising the chance of a dip toward $45k.
- • Any major exchange hack or regulatory crackdown (unpredictable): a sudden panic sell-off could briefly push BTC to $45k, spiking Yes odds.

Will the price of Bitcoin be above $62,000 on July 26?
The market is pricing a 100% probability that Bitcoin will be above $62,000 on July 26, reflecting the current spot price already well above that threshold, but the real story is whether any sudden crash before noon ET could break that level, which the odds dismiss entirely.
Yes ≈ 100% chance

Bitcoin's price surged above $64,000 after a brief dip, driven by strong ETF inflows and a bullish technical pattern, making a Yes resolution on the noon close appear likely, but the market's 28-point jump in 24 hours reflects a rapid sentiment shift that could reverse if volatility spikes before noon.
Yes ≈ 78% chance
Will Bitcoin dip to $60,000 in July? — ↓ 60,000
Despite a sharp geopolitical selloff that briefly pushed Bitcoin below $73,000, the 13% 'Yes' probability for a dip to $60,000 in July reflects traders' belief that the Middle East shock was not severe enough to trigger an additional ~$13,000 drop in the remaining five days of the month.
